Board Development Resources
In addition to funding important work in our community, United
Way of Mason County is committed to supporting the ongoing
development of non-profit organizations through board development
strategies. We are committed to strengthening the foundation
of organizations by creating collaborative learning opportunities
that assist boards and the organizations they serve in generating
transformative community change.
United Way of Mason County conducts this work in collaboration
with The Chamber of Services (formerly, Mason County Non-Profit
Alliance).
How to use this site?
If you are new to this site you may want to start by reviewing
the Non-Profit Board Assessment. The assessment was designed
to assess the needs of your board based on key elements of
board development.
If you already completed the board assessment or if you are
looking for specific resources on board development visit
our resource library. The library was designed to provide
a quick overview of each resource, including a description,
cost and strengths of the product/resource. For a list of
local resources/experts please visit the Chamber of Services
website.
