For taxpayers, with low- and middle-income (and with special
attention to those age 60 and older), AARP Tax-Aide volunteers
will be at the locations listed above to provide FREE tax
preparation services. The AARP Tax-Aide program is offered
by the AARP Foundation in conjunction with the IRS. Don’t
pay to get your own money back!!!
If you also claim Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC), you could
receive up to $4,700 cash back. Even if your earned less than
$12,000, you may get money back, but only if you file.
Do you qualify for the EITC?
- No children: Income was less than $12, 590
(maximum refund is up to $428)
- One child: Income was less than $33,241 (maximum refund
is up to $2,853)
- Two children: Income was less than $37,783 (maximum refund
is up to $4,716)
